A clear view of your child's next step.
The straight answers families ask us first.
A career school, not a college.
A full-time, in-person, one-year program in Calicut for students who have finished +2. Learners choose between two career paths — creative production or growth marketing — and spend the year making assessed work with supervision.
It's not a degree.
Odd School awards a private certificate. It does not provide degree equivalence, and some employers filter for degrees. We pursue portfolio-friendly roles and we'll tell you this upfront. If your child is considering a parallel degree, let's talk about the workload honestly.
The big ones.
Can my child join without prior software experience?
Yes. We teach fundamentals before software tricks, and offer two optional bridge hours a week in the first eight weeks.
What if they choose the wrong track?
They can try a taster of each before enrolling. One supported switch is possible by the end of week 4 if a seat exists, and any fee difference is disclosed first.
How will we know they're progressing?
You'll get a monthly note covering attendance, submitted work, rubric trends, strengths and next steps. Term reviews happen at weeks 8, 21, 34 and 43. For adult learners, they decide what is shared.
What happens if they struggle?
A missed session gets a check-in within one working day. Repeated absence leads to a support meeting and a recovery plan. Learners get one supported resubmission per piece of work.
What does career support include?
A role-specific portfolio, CV and interview preparation, eight weeks of supervised industry practice, and six months of support after the course. It doesn't include a guaranteed job.
How might this affect future degree or employment options?
It builds work experience and a portfolio that many employers value. But it isn't a degree, so we recommend discussing plans for further study before enrolling.
What a week looks like.

- Feedback on every major piece of work within five working days
- Named faculty, supervised studio access and a named welfare contact during operating hours
- Campus location and travel information will be shared once confirmed
